The global expectation of a successful knowledge city is to generate a techno innovation for national growth. This has led to the emergence of science cities by knowledge based development seeking nations. This study investigates the developmental trends of science cities by examine the evolutional concept of knowledge sharing development. The paper identifies and categorise various Technological parks/science cities with their major actors. However, this study submits that science cities are originally constituted by research institutions and universities for knowledge based objectives to achieve global development.
